Bespoke Projects
Industry leading UHF radio technology is at the heart of every LifeLine system.
Clarion are able to offer tailor-made solutions using our superior in-house capabilities of system knowledge and design that will provide customers with a bespoke solution that is scaleable, robust and totally reliable in application.
Enhancements can be made to the LifeLine UniCOM product that will not only provide the basic requirements for alerting the deaf and hearing impaired to fire alarm activations, but with the inclusion of an embedded computer processor it can provide the capability for additional interfaces and advanced system functionality.
LifeLine NetCOM
For fire panels supporting a data interface (digital addressable units), connection may be made to an addressable fire panel via an RS232 data interface. This enables the data to be read, interrogated and then distributed to other remote systems e.g. a LifeLine personal pager.
Information such as the exact location of an activated sensor e.g. Break glass, heat or smoke, faults and system activity communicated in real time can all be integrated with the main LifeLine unit. Any information output from a building’s fire panel can effectively be ‘mirrored’ by a LifeLine system and then transmitted out to pagers, PCs etc.
Network Interface
With an embedded processor, a LifeLine unit can have the full support and interfacing capabilities to industry standard CAT5 TCP/IP networks. This enables a vast range of interfacing and extensions to the standard system. This includes:
- Remote & central monitoring of LifeLine units from a central point e.g. Security Lodge
- Remote access to system features, e.g. paging software and messaging
- Distribution of fire panel information across a network
- Dynamic configuration of multiple systems throughout a large site
Even though Clarion may not offer something as part of our standard product range, this does not mean we cannot provide you with a solution. No matter what size or complexity of project, whether it be a networked or stand-alone solution, Clarion will work with you to identify a solution that will surpass industry standards and add true value to your existing fire alarm and detection equipment.
